  22. Make sure you do not disable call waiting when your modem dials.
  23. Often the solfware you're using allows you to disable call waiting by
  24. using a dialing prefix to the number you're dialing or as a check-off
  25. program option.  I have GTE service and the string I use to disable
  26. call waiting is 70#, with a comma to pause the dialing string.
