- Make sure you do not disable call waiting when your modem dials.
- Often the solfware you're using allows you to disable call waiting by
- using a dialing prefix to the number you're dialing or as a check-off
- program option. I have GTE service and the string I use to disable
- call waiting is 70#, with a comma to pause the dialing string.
